Emergency Response Contract Services:

The RK Group has a proven history of providing unique, quality, services in areas such as catering, equipment rentals and destination management and we do it quickly and accurately. We felt this was a perfect combination of elements to propel us into a new arena: Emergency Response Contract Services.

We currently hold a contract with a major sub-contractor of FEMA to provide services to include food and shelter to 13 Eastern Seaboard States when any type of disaster or need affects their area. We are prepared to arrive within 48 hours of our initial call ready to serve and provide our services.

Our previous experience and current contract with Baptist Children Family Services in Texas assisted in preparing us for this type of work. We have worked with BCFS numerous times in the last several years when various hurricanes have pounded our great State of Texas and also Louisiana. Our team provided meals for numbers between 50 and 600 people each with 3 to 4 meals per day for almost 60 days. Providing 50,000 meals and snacks required responsiveness, attention to detail and flexibility from all of our staff. We boast an unbeatable group of culinary artists, wait staff, captains and management.

The RK Group was also recently awarded a contract with Texas Department of Transportation to provide the same Emergency Response Services.

Valero Energy contracted us several years ago to offer Emergency Response Services if any of their refineries are impacted by natural disaster. This national contract allows us to assist them with tent set up for shelter and feeding services for employees who are affected by the disaster.

We enjoy being able to assist various communities in such meaningful ways.
